This wiring drawing is the starting motor circuit diagram for the 1935 Chevrolet Master De Luxe, Standard, and Trucks of the Series EA, EB, EC, ED, and Q. The starting system has only one function to perform, it cranks the engine in the same manner as was formerly done by hand. For the starting system, here are the components included; battery, starting switch, and starting motor. The battery provides the energy, the switch completes the circuit, allowing this energy to flow to the starting motor. The motor then delivers mechanical energy and does the actual work of cranking the engine. The starting system components is used for a short time only and then remains idle until it is again needed to start the engine. The battery, however, performs other functions.
